Has anyone had recent contact with this company?? Does anyone know if they're still in business??

The reason I ask is, on two separate occasions, I've sent multiple emails with no response. The first time, starting in March of this year, I sent 3 emails before I finally got a reply. Dale was very helpful when he finally responded, and as long as I replied back almost immediately continued to answer my questions. I now have 4 emails out with no response.....

I'm trying to purchase a polar pod for this winter, based on the information he provided this Spring. Looking like my search will move on to a more reliable vendor:confused::confused:

Hello:

I hope all's ok with Dale Bostwick,"Darby" here.

Spoke w him a couple months ago while placing a custom order and he was his usual cheerful, attentive self.

Try calling him around 5:30PM, weekdays, mid-week preferred. 252-619-8292.

Please post here what you learn.

All of my hammocks, tarps and Polar Pod are superb in every way.

Respectfully.
Porter

I exchanged emails with Dale a few weeks ago the purchase of a used piece of equipment he said would be available soon. But when I followed up later, I got no response from two emails. I then dropped the matter.

So something ain't workin' right.

Thanks, I appreciate the contact info and have absolutely no doubt the gear is top notch.

BUT is that an acceptable way to do business??? I can only HOPE to get a response during a specific time on a few days?!?!?! I know the people I do work for would NEVER accept that......and I doubt many here would either. We're talking about $600 for a lightly overstuffed polar pod, not $20 for a set of snake skins!!! Not that the dollar amount should make a difference in the quality of service.

Same as goober, I have dropped the matter.......

Hey Folks,

I have to apologize for my lack of response. I have been in a situation that has demanded all of my time and then some. As Porter Rockwell mentioned, if you do not get a email response within a day or two, call me at 252-619-8292, this is my cell. I will be more than happy to answer anyone's questions at any time. I have a very hectic schedule at present that does not allow me time to sit in front of a computer.

Cheers, Dale

Nice to know you are ok.

Let me know when that custom liner might be ready. No rush.
