Any chance of an "Extra Insulation" option being added to the Cayenne Pepper Underquilt to make it 4 seasons like there is for the Jalapeno Pepper Topquilt?

Ask and you shall receive. I've added whole quilt extra Apex CS 3.6 as an option.

Honestly, it will depend on the user. I would guess somewhere between 10° and 20°.

Honestly, it will depend on the user. I would guess somewhere between 10° and 20°.George is dead on. Climashield Apex 7.5 oz insulation will take most users down to 20F. You're stacking 9.6 oz of CS together (3.6 + 6.0), almost equivalent to CS 10.0, so 10F to 15F ought to be about right. I made a 7.2 oz quilt out of double-layer CS 3.6, hoping to take it down near 20F this winter, and you've got 33% more insulation than that. Try to do a backyard test when you get it, and bring a space blanket with you your first trip out in the field as cheap insurance, but I think he's right. George doesn't sew cold quilts!
