Well,it's that time of year - the 2nd Annual Loco Libre Gear NOT Black Friday Sale! For those of you who aren't sure, we do our Black Friday sale one week early, hence the name. I promised something good for those who were patient, and I am a man of my word. On Friday November 18th (almost) everything in the store is 15% off, and the rest of the weekend everything is 10% off. Buy early and buy often as our lead times will go up. The following applies to this sale:
1)The code for Friday November 18th is NBF1615.
2)The code for Saturday and Sunday November 19th and 20th is NBF1610.
3) Sale discounts apply to new orders only placed during the sale.
4)Sale starts 00:01 am November 18th and ends 24:00 November 20th, EST
5)Sale does NOT apply to custom work or fabrics.
We are currently at 9 weeks for down and 4 weeks for synthetic quilts. Those times will go up dramatically over the weekend. I will post our updated lead times after the end of the sale, and all orders placed during the sale will fall between our current lead and the new lead. The earlier in the sale you order, the shorter the wait. We will do our best to expedite orders as quickly as humanly possible.
Loco Libre Gear reserves the right to change the terms of the sale at any time between now and the end of the sale without prior notice or remedy. I'm not planning on changes, just covering my tail.

Oh, I got confused...I thought you were saying this is NOT the Black Friday sale, and there would be more...but what you meant was the Not-Black-Friday sale...in place of Black Friday. Might want to reiterate this in your post above...I found it all kinds of confusing with how it was worded.

Sorry you had to "weed out" my comment, I was just attempting to inject a bit of good natured banter, which seems to be a common thing here, and one of the reasons I enjoy many of the threads. Henceforth, I'll make sure I keep it strictly business.
Dang. Too good of an offer to pass up. While I may not have been the first to order after midnight, I still got my order in by 12:30.

I have got the REAPER MADNESS!!!! Ordered an 80" -20° 900 goose down Reaper with 5 oz of 900 over fill goose at 00:01 this morn.
+1 to the MIB memory eraser. Should be some time in February before I get it.

What colors did everyone order? I ordered my Ghost Pepper in Black outer with Brilliant Blue inner with opposite stitching. The Reaper is Charcoal outer and Moroccan Blue inner with matching stitching.
February arrival will be a good time to test that -20F rating.
Woodland Camo Outer with Burnt Orange Inner for me.

My 20° has the hot box and a neck baffle Charcoal grey outside brick red inside brick red contrasting stitching on the outer. My 40° is Moroccan blue outside charcoal gray inside with snaps/cord for warmer weather.

February arrival will be a good time to test that -20F rating.
I ordered a 20F Ghost Pepper with Coyote Brown outer, Burnt Orange inner, and blue stitching throughout. Might look crazy, but so am I. 85" 800 fill duck down, 5" taper, and flat sewn footbox.

Just ordered a Cayenne Pepper Underquilt. 80" standard width. Never could get my 3/4 length to keep me warm. Decided full length was the way to go. Dark olive outer, gray trim and deep purple inside.

Thanks George for the sale! I bit the bullet and ordered Friday morning. Ordered a 20* Habanero, nothing fancy on colors - Coyote outer, Orange inner but for a guy who spent his first year in a hammock with pads, I can't wait! My season just ended this past weekend on a Scout campout but can't wait now for spring! Top quilt will have to wait a little longer.

That's what I figured with the 11 week estimated shipping time...I figured I'd see mine some time around mid-February...unless I can bribe George with his favorite beer to get it to the front of the line :scared:

I ordered a down TQ in September. There was a 9 week lead time and I got it exactly then. I knew he'd have Black Friday sales, but wanted to make sure I had it before winter started. Very, very happy with my TQ so far.

I'm doing my best to be patient (not one of my best qualities) but at least for me the best thing about ordering at the beginning of winter and then having to wait until the end of February for my quilts is that it's too snowy and too cold to even think about being able to use them yet...so if they were sitting here, glaring at me in their storage sacks, I'd be even more antsy for summer to get here!
Although that isn't an excuse to send my order to the back of the line though :scared:
