I received my "Not" Black Friday Sale Loco Libre Gear Cayenne Pepper today. I went with 75" long and the 50" Wide width in Woodland Argon 90 outer and Charcoal Gray Argon 90 inner. It is the Apex CS 6.0 with whole length 3.6 extra (9.6 oz, 10* rating). After much debating when ordering I decided to go with the Down Draft Collar. The reason for the debate was that down has a tendency to set off my allergies. After receiving it I am really glad I decided to go with them, because it looks like they will help the underquilt seal up quite nicely. It weighed in at 39.9oz with the stuff sack. Overall I am extremely impressed with the quality. I can't wait to get it out and do some testing. Hopefully that will be this weekend.

The main reason for getting this was my decision to get into some winter hanging this year. With that said it will get use all year because 2 of my 6 kids finally want to do some hammock camping with me this year. We do a lot of family camping at campgrounds in the travel trailer, but I am excited to break in my 2 oldest boys (9 and 7) to some short overnight backpacking trips.

I just wanted to give my first impressions and thank George for making a great product at a great price.

Here is a quick pic of it on the dining room table. I will get some better pictures of it posted once I have it hanging under a hammock. I'll try to do this tomorrow on my lunch break.

I got the hammock set up and the LLG Cayenne Pepper adjusted for it's first test in the back yard. It is suppose to be a low of 22* tonight and I think I will be nice and toasty!

Thank you, I agree it is a beautiful area to hang! Yes, my house is the grey one with the blue roof. My parents live in the tan house. Where I hang is actually on my property, even though it is closer to my parents house.

I hope that you are able to get one soon!

Great images, I received my Before Black Friday quilt a few days ago. Almost the same as yours. My quilt is 70 long, camo with orange, added fill, snaps and collar. I have been wrapped in my quilt since it arrived, weather is cold and damp, snow with ice, I am cold and housed. Wrapped in my new quilt waiting for the floods that tend to come when this stuff melts off.
I saw your post on it. You need to add some pics :D

The test last night went really good. The low got down to 23* and I stayed completely warm all night. In fact it was the warmest most comfortable night I have ever spent outdoors. I woke up at 4am needing to relief myself and I had forgot that I was outside! That's never happened to me before.

Awesome! Pretty easy to adjust? What did you use for a top layer if you don't mind me asking?

I found it fairly easy to adjust. Shug's video on adjusting this type of secondary suspension helped a lot. I used an AHE Owyhee 3 season top quilt.

I've got another month to wait for my LLG quilts. I love to torture myself by looking at those that others have been getting
