Hey all, so the other day I received my Jalapeņo pepper top quilt from Loco Libre Gear. No pics yet but I will take some on request.
Heres what I got:
75" Standard width, 6.0 CS Apex, Woodland camo outer, burnt orange inner, 5" straight taper, snap and drawcord footbox.
So far I am very pleased with this quilt. I got it while they were having a sale so the price wasn't too bad. No defects in any stitches and everything seems super high quality. I love the look of the camo outer and orange inner. I have only slept in it once so far in my backyard, but I was toasty warm down to about 35 degrees and I had it paired with my AHE jarbridge 3 season under quilt, and a pad in the footbox.
Only real con I can think of is that it took a long time to get here, but I guess that is to be expected when you order from a cottage shop during a sale. I'm sure they had a ton of orders to get through and luckily I didn't need it for any trips. One other thing I would like to see improved is to make the stuff sack just a little bigger so that it can be mashed into the bottom of my pack and mold to other things around it without the cord lock slipping on the stuff sack. Right now it really fills the stuff sack all the way up with no wiggle room at all.
All in all very happy with my purchase and I would definitely consider ordering from Loco Libre Gear again when I am ready to upgrade to down quilts
