The Grip clips JRB is selling are the light material models in black color... They are very close in size but are a tad easier to handle... probably better suited for 1.1 in either DWR or sil.

Just FYI,

Grips Clips can slide on silnylon. Use a balloon around one slide to eliminate this.

My hammock was up for the long weekend in same spot with my JRB tarp and a grip clip on one side with a little swatch of balloon. It rained a lot and there was some wind. But the grip clip did great and my JRB large tarp kept everything quite dry. I spent two great nights sleeping in hammock comfort. Bliss.

I've been playing around with them ... I have the very small white ones ... work perfectly on sil.
