well....that sounds like a possibility. we tend to do Winnipeg for Canada Day weekend, but might be able to make it a solo trip as well

Hoping to join you.

Mosquitoes could be bad by then, I'll bring a big bug net along.

I was really hoping to get over there. Wife reminded me of my mother-in-law's 75th birthday. So I'm grounded. Move it a week and I'm there ;)

I'm still finessing the wife but I suspect the directive to get the deck done is going to take precedence

Good morning! Saturday is coming up quick! I can't seem to find a check in time for the campground but plan to arrive around 2pm. Junco Bay. I managed to reserve 3 sites a few weeks ago. And it looks like more are available if needed.

If anyone wants to come for the day but not stay the night that is totally cool. It will be a great opportunity to check out lots of different gear and set-ups.

I'll have different suspensions to try, whoopie slings, dutch hooks, daisy chains with carabiners and cinch buckles. Spreader bars to hang 2 hammocks side by side from the same trees. A double layer hammock if you'd like to try with an air mattress. Bridge Hammock. snug pak synethic underquilt and top quilt along with down filled options.

Someone is planning to attend with his DIY warbonnet blackbird clone and hopefully a DIY Clark Double hammock.

I imagine some Costco down blankets will make an appearance as well if you've been curious following that trend online.

Please bring your own food. I plan on bringing some firewood for camp fires.

Looking forward to meeting everyone in person!

We had a great turnout! filled out the sites with about a dozen hammocks. lots of different set ups - Truly Hang your Own Hang. Such an awesome group, made some new friends and talking already about a fall hang! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170604/63de5990c90af3da801b5d35a0ea9104.jpg
