OK... Here are the payment totals and instructions. I am going to list the shipped prices based on 50', 100', 150' and 200' for each of the lines in the buy. It will be your responsibility to make sure you are sending me the total for your order. For instance, If you are getting 2 different sizes or colors, you need to add the numbers up and send the correct amount to me. Please, and I can not stress this enough, PLEASE add to the comments section of paypal your Hammock Forums moniker. Without it, I will not know who you are. Also please include what your payment is for... how many feet of each color you are paying for. PayPal Id is kcasey740095 (at) att (dot) net.

If by chance you are going to, or have sent, your payment as a personal transfer or gift, you will need to include you address as well. PayPal does not give out address' unless the exchange of money is marked for payment of a tangible item. So for those that have already done this, please PM me your addy.

They didnt have all 3 spools on hand, so it, like the rest of the line, may take awhile to get here.
I ordered 1 each of the 1.75 and 2.2 grey and it took about 2 weeks to get to me.

Purchase and goods. The reason I have it done this way is so I can buy and print the shipping labels right here in my cozy den. Otherwise its time spent inline at the PO while each individual package gets postage.
The 2.9% + $.30 and $.19 fees are built into the listed prices. The $.19 is the shipping confirmation charge.

It takes a tremendous effort to pull of one of these group buys. The time involved in sourcing a good price, collecting monies and paying for the materials. Then the time it takes to divvy up all the goods. I think in the last group buy it took me 3 days to divvy up and ship 12,000' of rope. I thought that was pretty good.
This one... Almost all the payments came in less than 2 days. Some members wanted to cut me a check and promptly got ahold of me to ask if that was OK. A couple others got ahold of me and said they would pay in a bit because of certain circumstances in their lives. Thats fine...
And heres my rub..... Last nite I sent out a PM to the remaining members that haven't paid yet. All but 2 of them promptly sent payment. Those two members have logged on, or are logged on, today. No reply to the PM and still no payment.
Its not about the money. If it was I wouldn't have placed the order until all the payments were in. Its the principle..... Just drop me a note letting me know you have SOME inclination to follow through. Reply to the reminder PM. Even if that note says you are no longer interested... I'm cool with that. I can use the line.
Perhaps I'm being hasty? But I find it unacceptable that someone can log on here after a reminder PM has been sent and not only not reply to it, not send payment, yet carry on conversation in various threads.
And again.. its not about the money.

I love doing this kind of thing. I have the ability to get it done and its a small token I get to give back to the board for the Admin basically letting the cottage gear makers use the board as a marketplace. Most Forum owners would require someone like me to pay for a sponsorship.
Also.. I got to thinking about this today.... I don't want this, the buy, the logistics etc, to overshadow what Gargoyle is doing. That also takes a tremendous amount of time and commitment. He should be commended for the sacrifice hes taking in his personal life to help those who need it. Everyone that's donated to his effort, Thank You.

Yeah, I totally get what you're saying, since I go through the same thing organizing backpacking trips for a meetup group - and sure enough people won't respond and won't respond and I'm down to just saying at the outset "if you don't respond when I ask you to, I'm giving the permit slots to someone else." It's not so much about the money as the courtesy and the rudeness of ignoring the gel out of someone who's put themselves out at your request.
And then I have to say sorry :blush::unsure: for doing the paypal wrong. oy.

I like that color red, It looks duller then I expected which is cool, I was thinking a shinny red, very nice :), cant wait to make my first, secnd and third DIY project, A tarp ridgeline, woopie slings and self tensioners.

Yes... you could say that. Im currently on the 5:30am to 5:30pm shift at work. Tomorrow is my last day on that so Im excited to get off it.
This buy, while not as much rope, is a little more time consuming due to 4 different variations of line. Its not bad so far. I got 10 of the orders done and packaged in about 3 hours.
Still planning on the Hoosier hang. Right now Im planning on bringing my son, which means we probably wont be using hammocks, Ill have to settle for the RTT. But if Im flying solo, then for sure Ill be hanging.

If it makes you feel any better, I've got 15 cubic yards of top soil and 2 cubic yards of compost to spread across 4 beds before planting time in april and I've still got 2 trees to bring down and a bunch of undergrowth to clear.
