Nice work George. Do you have any close ups of how it connects to the RR?

My daughter (the photographer of the family) has been sick, but once she feels up to it I'll have better pics. Basically it's two carabiners at the head end that clip to the webbing on the hammock, and two carabiners on the foot end that have shock cord and a toggle to tension the quilt.

Great job and love those color combos. From those pics, it looks like a perfect fit.
See ya at HangCon 2018. Now, go take a nap. You're up too early.

Just when you think you're finished…
Wow, those are fantastic! Too bad I don't have a Ridge Runner. But I am looking very forward to my Saver Series 0 Habanero UQ :)

That is an awesome looking quilt! I don't own a RR, so I won't be needing it. But I am looking forward to hopefully trying my contest Reaper soon! The baffle design of the Reaper makes it the coolest looking UQ around, IMO. TrailSlug may be right; perhaps I should get a RR too!

Trust me, it's very tempting!

In the voice of George Bush "Not gonna do it, not gonna do it, it wouldn't be right , it wouldn't be prudent" I'm so close and I don't even need another quilt - or do I?

Is this wider at the head and narrow at the feet to match the typical setup of the Ridegrunner?
On the topic of draft collars, I would almost think that fitting an UQ to a RR is so much easier due to the shape with less likelihood of gaps that it might not be needed. Thoughts?

We contoured this quilt to match the WBRR. The draft collar is offered as an optional extra barrier against the cold or if you toss and turn a lot at night, but I'd say in most cases it's not needed. That's why it's not standard.

If I hadn't just bought the Arrowhead Ridge Creek XL I'd be considering this quilt. Looks amazing.
I have been shopping for an underquilt for my RR and was disappointed to learn LocoLibre didn't have a Bridge hammock quilt until today. I got my colors chose now to solidify my choice of insulation, leaning heavily on 20* & picking up a spindrift for the occasional winter trip.

So your vote is for this UQ? I've been looking and trying to decide which one...

Yeah. I love the chevron baffles. Loco Libre does some great work. I'd like a 40* ridge runner specific quilt. I have a 40* Incubator but just can't seem to get rid of the minor pocket without making some changes to the suspension.
Yeah, I know I have a problem.

On the foot end, how close to the end of the hammock is it? I like my Lynx, but it is a few inches short of covering the whole foot end of the RR. At 6' 2" my feet are right on the end if not slightly over the end of the underquilt. Maybe for suspension purposes it has to be that way, but I'd look seriously at a new underquilt that was longer.

Unfortunately it has to be a couple inches short otherwise it would be difficult to hang the quilt and get a good seal. Our first prototype was full edge to edge length, but made for an awkward attachment method.

Although George confirmed it has to be a few inches short, I didn't notice that with his quilt. I am 6' 2" as well and my feet were fine. I will check again this weekend and comment back.

Thanks for the answer. I kind of figured it was for the reason you said. I've noticed UGQ's Ambush is the same way. I like being tall, but occasionally it has its drawbacks!
Any thoughts of doing a 3/4 length for the Ridgerunner?
