View Full Version : CLOSED: Goose down group buy...

Sorry mods if this is in the wrong place. You are welcome to move it if you like.

I was recently misquoted (in my favor for once) a price on a big bag of 900fp goose down. I thought this might be a good opportunity to offer to do my first HF group buy. This is only for my HF family and will not be posted on my site. So, without further ado, here is the deal....

900 fill power hungarian grey goose down for $6.50/oz. That cost includes shipping to the CONUS.

There is one catch. I normally offer to package goose down in bags as small as 1oz but this time we are limiting the bag size to a minimum of 2oz (and that will probably be a pain too :D:D). If there are any DIYers out there that need some extra down, this just might be the time to get it.

There is no time limit on this buy. The only limit will be the bag size. I believe it is a 15lb bag. If I left anything out, let me know.

Thanks,
Stormcrow

At least I know I am not alone...

Could someone give us some examples of approximate amounts needed for a 1/2, 3/4, and full size 3 or 4 season under quilt?

Thank you MrPrez. I was just going to post that information to give the DIYers out there an idea of what their down needs might be for a particular item they were wanting to make.
