Quite a steal at 15.99 (they were already a fantastic price at 19.99).

Nice, glad I waited. I guess I should have checked the flyer when it came.

What item is this exactly? When I search for "down blankets" on the Costco site, I get only two blankets. One at $59.99 and one at $69.99.

I believe you have to search for "down throw" or perhaps "Black Diamond."

I just did a "pre-buy"/fill-in form thing... there is a $2 fee added if you are not a member, but it seems shipping is free for standard.
My walkthru totalled $41.99, so the sale should come in around $34 shipped for a pair.
This is probably as good a deal as there will be... 4 colors However, there [B]is the chance that the sale will be "in-store" only...

What ""pre-buy"/fill-in form thing" did you do?

Ahh nevermind - i see you were just saying it has free shipping (despite the web page saying there will be shipping / handling)

The Costco quilt has become one of my favorite gear items. I use it for a pillow every night. That and the JRB quilt liner may never part ways.

I called the main CS phone number today.
Yes, it is going on sale Friday.
But, it is most likely single items, not a pair, and might be an only in store item.

I will wait for Friday, and probably just buy a pair whatever price they are.

They do not have them at the stores close to me, last time I checked.

Can someone help me find a the post for a costco system using snaps and such to fold and stack the throws for a system that you can tailor to the temperature you need. I think it used three quilts and no sewing.

Most of the items in my recent Costco mailer are described by a graphic in the corner of their description as it being possible to "order on line". Unusually, the down throw does not have this "bubble" in the description. From this, it looks like to me, that it will be in-store only.

Search for Gemini Underquilt, or there is this dedicated page:

Which mailer, email I assume, did you see the down throw?
I cannot locate it in mine?

Thanks,

Thanks for the heads up. I'll see if there are any at my Costco. If not, I'll order them.

It is in the Costco "Holiday Savings" mailer. It says "Starting november 9, 2017" The throws are reduced only from nov 24 to nov 27 for $15.99, and it's toward the end of the mailer.

I opened the link, and opened the Holiday Savings Catalog, and saw the page for Nov 24-27.
On the side of the first page it said online saving start Nov 23rd.

Any of you near Winchester, VA looking for one, I just returned from the Costco there. They've got 4 stacked cases all mostly full of various colors. Currently priced at $19.99.

Not worth the gas money to Greenville or Spartanburg if in store only.

Reviews say the ones that sold previous years were better.
Any opinions?

Now that you mention it, they "looked" a little thinner that the ones I got last year. However, I didn't actually pick one up.

I don't have a Costco near me so hopefully the online sale will be there. I'd like to make a light weight Summer UQ.
By the way I knew you were from the BURG without looking at your location as soon as I read "yinz" Went to school in PA.

Online purchase available starting today.
I just placed an order.
I am a member, so free shipping plus tax was 34.23 for a pair.

I grabbed a set as well... can't go wrong with this price (and the normal additional shipping charge is gone!)

Thank you for the info. Just placed the order at 39.99 and is expecting to arrive tomorrow. Filled out the price match form to get back $8.

I had been toying with redoing my CDT underquilts.

Love what I have, and it served me well down below 35 degrees - but my son asked about going to a full lenght quilt (80", vs the 3/4 length that I made at 60").
Figured that this is a good excuse to do that.

Ordered us 3 quilts a piece... still need to decide how I want to work with them.
Planning on faux baffles - possible setting the 3rd quilt aside as an optional layer for cold weather

I just ordered mine online with the Black Friday sale. Without a Costco membership, my total at final checkout was $33.99. Can't complain. Looking forward to getting my TQ/UQ set up :D

Two in "Gray", straight off the truck....

I can confirm that the gray is the very same as I bought two years ago, in-store, as "silver"... the inner layer is brighter/shinier.
Both weighed in at 16.9 oz w/tags/bag/banded

I'd be interested to know if anybody weighed their BB&B or Bauer clones [non-BlackDiamond] to see how they compare.
