We received our 50* Ghost Peppers a couple of weeks ago and they are gorgeous. Ready for some summer hanging.
I took mine out to the backyard when it was mid to high 40* and also got a chance to take it out in Oregon this 1st weekend of May (not sure of the temperature)

Specs:
outer - Morrocan Blue 67 w/ orange stitching; inner - Burnt Orange Taffeta w/ blue stitching; snaps; 900+1; 70"
outer - Saddle Brown 67 w/ blue stitching; inner - Moss Green 67 w/ brown stitching; snaps; 900; 75"

The quilts look great, but I think if I had to do them again, I would pair the Moss Green w/ green stitching so that it shows up more.

Here are some pictures if anyone is considering what colors to do (this took us forever to decide - so many choices and combinations)
Depending on the angle of light the colors look a little darker or brighter. We had a bit of rain this past weekend, so I was not able to get outdoor pictures.

Pretty sweet looking quilts! I love the chevron baffle design & the contrasting orange thread really jumps out against the Moroccan Blue.

I'm waiting on my Operator in Saddle Brown Argon 67 outer, Burnt Orange Argon 67 inner, with orange stitching. Your post makes it even more unbearable!! Thanks a lot! :)

lol. good things are always worth the wait :)

thanks all. I think the Moroccan Blue color is my favorite. I have an HG TQ with that color and mostly went with the orange for the taffeta material, so I am glad it worked out well.
The Moss Green was my main worry because it always seemed to look a little different in other pictures - like either more yellow or more gold and not so 'green'. I would describe it as a really light olive mixed with tan and shaded with gold. (i think i will have to try that with a paint set someday and see if it comes out) Hopefully that helps someone with a similar question about it.

Those baffles are a work of art. Very stylish.

Yes. George is really great, not only in his work, but during my correspondences with him too. I think an underquilt will be next on my list :)
