I have not been able to find any reviews on the forum (or online really) of this stand while using an 11' hammock like the Blackbird XLC, DWG Chameleon, etc. I have had similar hammock stands in the past and they have not worked with the longer hammocks. Anyone use this stand with an 11'er? Also, anyone ever hang an 11' tarp on this as well?

Any insight would be welcome!

Thank you. I saw the Dimensions and should have done the math before I posted. Doesn't look like it would really work for an 11' hammock. According to the Hammock Hang Calculator, in order to set your suspension to be at 54" in height, you would be about 5" off the ground. No good. Oh well. The hunt for the perfect hammock stand for an 11' hammock continues...

Just saw this. It won't work with an 11. It's not tall enough.

Hey there. I just made a DIY 🐢 dog stand that is working out great as a backyard hanging platforms. While admittedly it is a tad large to transport easily, the stand is extremely stable, strong, and very affordable. I may yet buy a lighter hammock stand for portability in the future, perhaps the Tensa 4.

I saw someone who bought steel pipe to extend the Ceara taller for two hammocks. That got me interested. I wish Hatteras hammocks had a height extender. I saw 2QZQ had a guy weld up something to go into the end of their hammock stand that bends like 60 Deb so it shoots straight up for height and that worked good. I don’t h@ e those skills. The Vario stand no longer exists to purchase apparently. Did you find a good stand for the 11”?

Curious how you came up with those measurements? Based on my numbers using the HHCalculator, this stand is perfect, especially if you added a couple inches to your continuous loops to be hooked right up. What am I missing here?

Note that I used 10.33 feet for the tree span because the stands shortest width is 124".
