Labor day sale?

Hi,

Any chance Locolibre is offering any labor day sales?

Underground quilts is offering 10% off, but I'm inclined to go with locolibre to get a better fitting 75" length.

The difference in price is considerable though given similar materials right now:

UGQ 20F/72x55/sewn footbox/M10 fabrics with stuff sack and storage: $219 shipped / $234 with fully insulated footbox

LL Serrano 20F/75x55/insulated footbox/argon fabrics with stuff sack and storage: $284

That's at least $50 more for an equivalent quilt as far as I know...

It wouldn't be fair to compare the LL econ quilt because it doesn't offer the lighter Argon 67 fabric, equivalent to the M10.

Sorry nquinn, I have taken a long look at the market and it's downward spiral and decided instead of running sales, to just put our best price forward up front. I believe we are fair in our pricing, and by no means are we getting rich. Honestly I'd rather do less at a consistent price, than make my customers wait for sales and have spikes in wait times. Those who believe our products are worth a little extra will buy from us, and those who shop price will do just that. I just think it's a fairer way of treating my customers. I do appreciate you considering us though:thumbup:

Flip side, compare a 50 degree tq - that I'm in the market for.
Ll is 40 bucks cheaper, even after sale for a comparable quilt.

Sometimes to get exactly what you want, it is worth paying a little more!

Thanks for the reply regardless. I was mostly wondering because Locolibre has in fact run a few sales in the last few months, so it didn't seem unreasonable to see one on a common retail holiday.
