It’s with sad news that I have to pass along that one of our active members passed away on Christmas Eve. He was known on our site as “Ice Man (https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/member.php/4092-ice-man)”. Some of you may know him from some of the hammock hangs that he attended. His last hang that he attended was the 7th Annual Black Hills Hang Sheridan Lake SD on August 23rd 24th & 25th. His family passed along that he was an avid hanger.

This is sad indeed and so young.
I had the pleasure to meet Frank at the Black Hills Hang and enjoyed our conversations together,prayers for his family.
Always sad to lose a member.

I enjoyed meeting and spending time with Frank at the Black Hills hang. He was a all right guy. He will be missed!
Very sorry to hear that. I also met him at the Black Hills hang and found him to be a very interesting and fun companion.
