HydroRaven and I are planning a winter hike and hang on the weekend of January 26-27.
Meet up point is JR Torisawa station in Yamanashi by 11AM on Jan 26.

There's a JR Chuo express headed towards Otsuki and will stop at Torisawa at 10:43.
There is also a 7-11 nearby to pickup any last minute items.
Hike up to the camp is short. Along the way, we can stop off at a nearby pond for lunch.

The area is "active" with bears. I'll try to remember and bring two set of bear lines, no BBQ as we will be stealth camping and practice LNT as much as possible.
Hi/Lo and Sun rise/set

Highest peak in the trail will be Mt. Kuratake. We will be ridge walking most of the day so bring wind protection!
