Here is a slideshow of the options I have for the Tarp Ridegline. The Figure 9 option is still available and I havent updated my website. But the single TRL without the Figure 9 is the result of brainstorming of the members here.

opie - I'm really liking your thinking on toggles and the slide show is a great way to demonstrate things. In some ways it's more helpful than a youtube video.

Thanks Knotty. The latest version is a result of the collaboration from the members here....

I just discovered the slideshow. Never thought about it till today.

And its great cause I have a real problem getting videos uploaded.

Thanks Shug. I milled every piece of wood in that playhouse. Unfortunately the kids never had much interest in it, but it keeps the sun off them while they play on the sand box underneath it.

Great slideshow Opie. I like the fact you are always trying to improve on an already great product. The toggles are making life easier for us with their quick set up time and light weight. Thanks for putting that together to show us the latest and greatest.

Just want to add I also thought the slide show was very informative and your continual pushing of knowledge about gear options is great.

Awsome job. I really like the toggles, especially the way you have reconfigured the end so that you don't need a figure 9.

Does the line stay pretty taught with just the toggles on both ends?

Not as tight as you can get with a figure 9. You are able to get it pretty taught though. But once you get your tarp all staked out, the pitch is pretty taut. Schneider posted a thread up in the suspension forum of the no figure 9 rl that gives you back some of the mechanical advantage of the figure 9 while eliminating it. It is a copy of TeeDees idea.

Thanks that is a good idea too. I am thinking about combining several of these ideas in my next RL. I like the simplicity of yours. Maybe you can get better leverage if you swap the prussic and toggle?

Thats a great idea it would definitely give you more leverage to get a tight set up.

I milled my toggles from an old HDPE cutting board.

Cut 3/8" x 3/8" stips
Round the strip edges on a 1/4" router
Cut strips into 2 1/4" sections
Taper end edges
Drilled holes where needed

They came out pretty well. I also cut a couple of aluminum arrows, but I did not like them as much.
