Some time ago I ordered some lightweight materials at ripstopbytheroll.com.
I wanted to replace my old diy hammocks and tarp from heavy ripstop nylon, with some newer and lighter materials.
Here are the results, the specs and the making of for those who are interested.

Talk about ambitious! Any one of those projects would be impressive. All three together is mind numbing. I'm curious about the bridge. Mine is made of 1.9 oz fabric. I weigh about 160 and I can feel it stretch. How stretchy or strong is that 1.0 fabric? Just curious.
Cheers.
