Hello all. I thought i would introduce myself. Julie..AKA Adia. from maryland. mom of 2 girls. New to hangin, but Cranky Bear has shown me the light...lol

Welcome, enjoy the resources this site has to offer. I have learned so much and most likely will not return to the ground. It is a great way to spend time and money!:scared: My wife was ribbing me yesterday for taking my mother's cat food cans out of her recycling to make alkie stoves, and as I told her, "at least I am not spending money on something crazy like car racing or motorcycles." She smiled and concurred. Smile a lot, you will enjoy the ride.
Another welcome from NC. Glad to have you with us. Maybe Cranky Bear does give good advice once in a while after all. :rolleyes::D Welcome aboard.

Hi Adia, welcome to the forum. I've been sending personal invites to all Maryland people and others in the surrounding states to come to the MAHHA (http://www.hammockforums.net/forum/showthread.php?t=14178). We've been doing a fall and spring hang at this park for a few years and it's great fun. The next one is April 16-18. Great place to meet people on the forum and see all the DIY projects along with gear from the cottage industry people on this forum.
Ya'll come if you have the time! Stop by for few hours on Saturday or come for whole weekend!

Cranky bear and I have already made plans to be there....saturday to sunday
We have a sitter for the kids and are working on getting my under quilt situation fixed....sounds like it will be an awesome weekend.....thanks for the invite. I can't wait.

Excellent. Bug-Bait will be posting some information on the hang this week since it is only one month out. Keep an eye out for it!
i will keep an eye out...
i don't know if I am more excited about getting a chance to use my new gear or getting a little time away...but both are great reasons to be excited. plus i will get a chance to see if any changes need to be made before the brownie encampment with my oldest daughter(the last weekend in April).
