View Full Version : 1st time hanger in So Cal

Gonna try and take the wife out for a local over nighter near Los Angeles.

Does anyone have any recommendations as far as a place that is easily accessible (Car Camping) that she can try out the new hammock she just made for this trip?

She has camped before, but is not into the backpacking thing (yet), so accessible (Car Camping) is a must.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Can't help w/ the recommendations but that sounds like a good way to get her started w/ a hammock. Make sure she enjoys the trip!:)

Well, we didn’t camp but we did get to go to the park nearby and try out the Hammocks that the wife had made.

Everything was an incredible success and we are slated for an overnight trip up at Silverwood next weekend.
