A couple days ago one of my international customers stated he got his order in 5 days. From MI to the UK.

Its my experience this is the exception.

Currently there is a customer in AUS that placed an order on the 26th of Feb, it was shipped on the 27th and they still have not received their package.

This is one of the main reasons I have switched to Priority International shipping. Its a flat rate anywhere in the world. And It gets shipped in a box, rather than a poly bag like I normally use.

Also.. I manage all my shipping via PayPal. For international shipipng PayPal gives me 2 options. Priority and Express. By switching to Priority, this gives me an electronic trail of the shipping. Previously I was having to stand in line at the PO and fill out a PS form 2976. This left no email verification of the shipment and no record of the shipment in paypal.

I guess this is one of those growing pains....

I appreciate every ones patience. Im still managing to keep fulfillment times under 3 days... Usually less than 1.

5 days!! Wow. Opie, don't feel bad about the shipping issues, they are not your fault. I applaud your efforts to speed up the process, but there will always be unknown issues with customs inspections.

Do I still hold the record for longest shipping time? (almost 3 weeks for it to travel a couple of hours by car!)

I just got something shipped from OH and it was stuck in customs for over a week, that means it was not moving at all. I was beginning to think they took it camping.

You can never blame the shipper, well you shouldn't any way, once it is out of their hands there is no control.

We might be tied on that record, Rug. I ordered some stuff from Opie mid December and didn't get it until after the first of the year. The post office was closed often with the way the holidays landed last year, so that could have been a factor.

I received an order from my UQ and TQ materials from Arizona and it got to me in 7 days total (obviously a weekend in there too). This was a rather large box at that. Which makes it more impressive to me.

Cheers

If Canadians and Americans can get along as well as we do, it seems like our governments could do likewise...

opie shipped my order this past monday bound for Quebec and i dont expect it till next friday which will be a full 2 weeks after shipping.
Canadian Customs are pretty slow and have been for a while now since the olympics and all.
It seems to have affected their time schedule a lot!

THAT blew my mind.

And yes.. You still hold the record... But I think its about to be broken.

Heres another one. I shipped an order on 3/3 to VA. It still hasnt arrived. Last time it was scanned was here in Lansing, on the 3rd.

I guess its not that bad... But I know when I pay for something, I want it NOW. Delays make me not happy.
