Hi everyone,
This looks like a great community. I've been backcountry camping for 30 years but I'm new to the hammock world. Looking forward to learning.
A bit about me:
Location: I live in upstate NY.
Favorite trip: JMT NOBO with my teenage daughter
Strangest outdoor moment: Allagash Wilderness, Maine. Numerous semi-large animals (our guess is Canadian Lynx) jumped over our tent in the middle of the night and crashed into our friends tent right next to us, totally collopasing the poles and material. One of the animals landed on the the guy inside and continually kicked him for 5-7 seconds before it righted itself and regained control, running off into the woods. Didn't sleep much that night!
