Hey all just making an official announcement about a few new things we have available in the store now. I added some new stuff sacks to the line up a few weeks ago--the Tarp Bag and the Hammock Bag 1's. Well today I added the Hammock Bag 2 and the Hammock Bag 1 & 2 with Pockets. The size 1 bags will fit any smaller hammocks like a HH ULBA, or WBBB's or the like. Size 2 Hammock Bags will fit larger hammocks like the bigger HH's or a smaller hammock with a small UQ attached. Both sizes are available in either double ended stuff sacks like the ones included with a WBBB or with a Grommet in the bottom of the square bottom.

The Pocket version adds a roomy double pocket to the outside of either bag. It has a Velcro flap closure pocket for things like tree huggers, carabiners, and any other small accessory items. The secondary pocket is behind the Velcro pocket and will provide quick access to other items you want handy when you set up.

I have also added 3 new colors to the line of Anodized Aluminum Rings for descender ring or Garda Hitch style suspensions. We now offer a total of 8 colors in stock.

And the other change that we are making this week is to the webbing straps that I offer. This week I had to drop some $$$$ on a new thread injector. The new one stitches so tight compared to the old one that the black thread on black webbing is a bit difficult to see where the last row of stitching is. So I am going to begin offering our black webbing with a second color for the top stitching. The First color that I have in stock is red, but I will be picking up other options tomorrow.

Perfect timing. My BB stuff sack is fraying bad at the end channels and the cinch cord has ripped out a good two inches or so. Had to hand sew it to get me by this weekend. I think I'll be ordering a hammock bag #1 with the grommet on bottom from you.

Paul, any plans to add a pocket to the tarp bag?

I probably will once I do some bigger sizes. But size one is so small that it literaly would be over shadowed by a pocket big enough for stakes. When I final size 2 I will likely add it as an option for it.

Paul, would one of those bags work for a tarp? Stakes could fit in the pocket? Suspension runs out the grommet?
Use one bag for your tarp, one for your hammock and suspension?

By the way, nice add-ons to the ever growing supply line!

The Tarp bag is a good bit smaller and uses a much smaller grommet as the guy lines do not need to be any were near as big as those for a hammock suspension to pass though. The size I have for tarps now is about half that of the size 1 hammock bag and less than a forth of the size 2 hammock bag.

Here it is with a MaCat Deluxe and 1.75 mm utility line running out the Grommet bottom.

With that size a normal 6 inch stake would be full length and would be difficult to stuff around. But the next size (that I am working on) will be just a bit bigger and should accommodate normal length stakes and bigger tarps like the bigger Warbonnet's or BWDD Winter Dreams, or the like.

Only yesterday I was thinking of a bag that has an outside pocket for my straps and such. Paul, it looks like you'll be getting another order from me when I get paid. :D

The picture with the grommet as the hole IMO increases the awesomeness of the bag 4fold.

Well then I should post the photo of the hammock bag with grommet bottom option as well, this is shown with a 1/8th inch whoopie exiting, that just fits :D

The bags remind me of bags Randy showed me a few months ago that he created when he was first getting into DIY stuff.

Bags look good! I like the square design. Any chance of getting one with a mesh pocket, so straps can dry easier if they get wet? Very nice though. Thanks for offering them.

Well did not get much "work" done today, went shopping instead. Picked up more thread, found some new fabric colors, and some webbing.

So First up is the other colors I will be offering from here on out for the stitching on webbing tree straps and suspension lines, pick the color you would like for the bar tacks on your straps.

http://thumbs.freewebs.com/Members/viewThumb.jsp?fileID=155608824&size=full

Next up I found 3 new colors of fabric that I like that I have added for Super Dinner Bivy cozies, Tarp bags and hammock bags.

http://thumbs.freewebs.com/Members/viewThumb.jsp?fileID=155607695&size=full

And I have also added another color to the choices for the Inu Strap Dog leashes.

So I have all of the new color choices updated on my site and available for order now.

I like that Idea, it will take a little exsperimenting to see if we can do it but I did pick up some mesh also today to play with and see how it works out. Will update you next week once I play with it.

Not my idea though. I have a blackbishop sack that has a mesh pocket and it works well for drying the straps/huggers.

Thanks!

Mmm... Sounds like a stake bag with a pocket for a tarp! :)
