There's been a lot of talk of using insultex for quilts, hammocks, and everything else under the sun that we can all try it on. But I realized that in every thread that I've seen or followed about it, I've only ever seen the finished products. Even the website for it just shows some technical diagrams, and then some professional applications that it's been used it.

I know it may sound silly, but for my own education and research purposes, does anyone have any pictures they could link or point me to, that show what insultex actually looks like? I know it's probably boring looking, like a roll of neoprene or something, but I'm curious none the less.

I got a look at some MacEntyre had at Hot Springs. If my memory serves me correct it was white in color,about 1/4" thick and looked like non woven compressed fibers. Its not a pic but at least its a start. Insultex is AKA IX

If you look at the quilt pics, that is raw IX with a hem around the edge and through the middle:
