I am contemplating getting a JRB Shenandoah as a summer UQ for my WBBB 1.7 DL.

I am 6'1 and was wondering if the regular would be sufficient coverage to both cover the length of my body and also go around the footbox or if I need the Long? Anyone else have experience that I could leverage? Thanks!

As an underquilt, I think it will work with no problems. I'm 6' and the Jacks' regular quilts work for me as an underquilt without my feet poking out.

However, a long will work just as well but you'll also have the option of using it as a top quilt, or lending it to someone who needs a top quilt. The long version will offer you more functionality. Since you're spending the money anyway, my recommendation would be to get the long so you have a functional topquilt or underquilt depending on the need.

I second Cannibal. I just ordered a long Hudson River to primarily use as a UQ. The regular length would have worked just fine as a UQ but I wanted the option of using it as a TQ and I'm 6'3''.

Go for the long. My long HR works much better than my regular Nest.

I'm 6' tall and JRB longs work very well on me!
