Eno Underquilt

So I've never seen an under quilt before in person and now I have a Eno ember. How does this thing attach? I can't find any pics or info on it. I was outside in the dark a little while ago and it didn't seem like I was doing it right.

Its big, heavy and has excess materials you do not need.
I've only seen them in pics on here.
For the money...buy something else. (my opinion.)
Do a search for uq's...read up on all the options. Watch the video's. Figure out what temps you are willing to camp in. budget?
For the almost $200, eno's list price for the ember, you can get something a lot smaller to pack. And has a proven record.

Don't let the little size of the down or synthetic uq's fool you. The insulation is where you need it, under your butt and up to your neck.

There's probably a reason there is no good pictures or reviews on eno's site? Or here?

I've seen one, but didn't pay any attention to how it was hung. It's not that it's altogether awful, just that there are better options available.

Arson has one, and should be able to help you with yours. He also has a video review on here somewhere...I'll look for it.

Thanks Oldgringo, I do already have it Gargoyle, so no talking me back from the jumping off the ledge. :D

I did read a bit about it before purchasing it. It's knew that it's bulky, and heavy, and not the most popular. It can be had for much less than the $200 list. It was part of a package deal with a doublenest, bugnet, and slapstraps. I know the slapstraps are also evil. I am very happy with what I paid for the whole package.

Eventually I'll make my own, I'm getting good with the thread injector. Right now I'm busy making hammocks, tarps, and stuff sacks. It's getting warm here and there won't be much need for an underquilt for a while. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to take it with me on my hike this weekend, probably not because they are predicting warm overnight temps.

Arson's video's are super helpful. The end seems kind of weirdly over engineered and I was trying to figure out why. There doesn't appear to be a reason for it.
