On another forum for non-hammock things we occasionally did a "Group Buy" where one person who had the ability to buy something in bulk and then pass on the savings to the individuals who were in on it. I'm not talking about anything that we already have established vendors for here as members but for other things.
I know I have some avenues that I could use for such things here and there that I'd be more than happy to do a "Group Buy" for at no markup, etc. I don't want to advertise that out there "too far" if we don't do those types of things around here.
