Jack and Jack will be out of the shop for most of August beginning 29 July.
Accordingly our last shipping day will be 29 July. Orders received prior to noon (EDT) 29 July will ship before we leave.
We will be back briefly 9-12 August. New orders received prior to noon (EDT) 12 August will ship before we leave again.
Full operations are expected to resume 30 August. We regret any inconvenience.
For those with questions or issues we will be monitoring e-mail and phone messages (except for the period 13-29 August when we are in the Maine woods), although responses may be delayed.

Have a great time and remember to stay ON the trails. They got tricky trails in Maine! I say this cuz I was day hiking in Acadia in June and slipped off one. Luckily I landed on branches and a ledge 8 ft. down but it sure got my heart pounding. :scared:

Have a good time in the woods of Maine. My kids and I are putting together plans for a week in Maine in August including a few days hanging. We'll even say "hello" if we see you two on a trail... so long as there's not a moose on your heels trying to pass!
Good for you! I think all the cottage industry folks should follow your example. Don't lose track of why you got into this business. :)

Have a blast in Maine! Watch out for those roots, rocks, and mud. That's what comes to my mind when ever someone mentions Maine to me :lol::lol::lol::lol: I also finally just put my Maine Blackfly Breeder's Association sticker that I purchased up there two years ago on the Pathfinder. Your timing should be about perfect for those nasties to be gone...

Enjoy your trek in Maine. Blackflies are gone, and the mosquitos aren't so bad this time of year either... at least this year. Rain hasn't been overwhelming either, so you might find patches of dry ground from time to time... :)

SHIPPING UPDATE...
Smee will be back in the shop 9 -12 August and I'll be back for 11-12 August...So Normal shipping is in effect for the next week... Everything ordered in this past week is in stock and should ship on the 9th... Stockage on all quilts and everthing else unless posted as "temp out of stock" is great...So orders by noon Thursday, the 12th, will ship on the 12th before we close to go hiking.
