I just added the JRB tri glides to my ENO double. I could not believe the difference from the slap straps. Are all upgrades this good:D

Triglides with new webbing? Did you get polyester webbing? Yeah it's a big improvement for sure. I've modded my ENO to the point you probably woudn't recognize it as an ENO. If you like modding, you should swap out the carabiners and rope next.

The webbing is what it came with assembled from JRB.

"Two 10 foot long, 1 inch wide, 700 pound, polypropylene web straps with 1.5 inch loops in one end and two JRB Tri-Glides. Each strap weighs 2.1 oz. Each tri-glide weighs 0.3 oz. Total weight for the set is 4.8 oz."

The biners are surely next.:)

Wyatt:
undo the rope from the ENO. Run the loop on the poly strap through the ENO channel and then feed the free end of the strap back through the strap loop. Then all you need to do is cinch the loop down, carefully making sure that the sewn area of the strap makes it through the loop, then run the tri-glide on the webbing, webbing tag end around the tree and then webbing back through the tri-glide. You now have the simplest suspension system on a hammock, tree distance and diameter are now the only limiting factors to your hang. I had this system on my CJH, before I went to a Cinch Buckle system and it was bullet proof, heres a pic of it set up.

Sounds like a plan. I have another hammock on order so I'm too chicken to take out the rope on the ENO until it gets here. Then the experiments start:D

There's nothing to it, and nothing to screw up. Would I steer you wrong?;)

I know the feeling but old gringo is right. Nothing to screw up. If anything you'll improve it no matter what you do IMO. Have fun!
