Is the packed up North american waterproof?

When you pack up the North American model up into its stuff sack do you need to further proctect it from water exposure or is it waterproof.

I am asking because I have had to put my Hennessey with snakeskins into a waterproof OR stuffsack to protect it from rain soaks, backpack waterbladder leaks and oversplashes in my canoe and kayak.

I don't know the answer to your question but a call to clark would be the way to find out. When you pack the NA you first turn one of the storage pockets inside out and stuff the hammock into the storage pocket. You then stuff it into the attached stuff sack. I belief that both the storage pocket and the stuff sack are waterproof.
