I was able to beef up on the retention hook so it can hold a person's weight should the clip get turned like a "C". In addition the top has the nub to prevent it from being turned like a "C" in the first place. I still recommend a stitch to hold it in place and so it doesn't get lost. These solutions only added a fraction of a gram to each clip. If you haven't sent back your clips purchase from 06/17/2010 until 10/13/2010 and you would still like to do so, please feel free. Your Dutch clip should be the strongest part of your suspension.
