I was going to make myself something like that. I thought it would be nice for short naps in the hammock with the dog.

Never thought of a Snuggie. Might work really well with a TQ in colder weather, especially for those night-time nature calls...;-) Let us know how it works out.

they've always looked like cult robes to me, especially that red one.

Well, I was talking with my fiance the other day about making us a down snuggie. I don't think there's anything weird in that.

That works too. It has the word "man" in the name, so all is well.

I never thought of using a snuggie for hammock camping it with be a perfect layering piece under my hudsson river for winter use or just as it is for summer use.

I would be interested in how it works for you.

I assume it is pretty light and packs up smallish.

i agree hammockers are a strange bunch already and then when we start talking about snuggies we just got stranger. Plus just to add that some of us Hammock campers are Geocachers as well (using billion dollar military sateillites to hunt for tupperware in the woods) that makes some of use very strange. :):):):):)

anyway i would stil like to know how that works for you in the hammock.

The words "man" and "Snuggie" totally don't belong in the same sentence together.

If you hang in the Snuggie, do you have to sing the Snuggie song? You know..... the one in the TV commercial to the Macarena tune??? I think it's a requirement.

Holy cow... even camo doesn't manage to make a Snuggie manly. I don't even think a "skulls" pattern would do it.

No offense to anyone, but I think I have to draw the line at Snuggie use. :scared:

:shades:

On the other hand, your cat sure looks comfy with the Snuggie (while still showing his masculine side!).

This thread is cracking me up!

Happy napping,

I am very late to this conversation (thread), but would love to know how this has worked out. Perhaps a picture of it with any modifications and packed up. Also, a weight would be awesome.
