Just wanted to let you all know about the big "Cyber Monday" sale we're doing online. For one day only (11/26) we're offering 30% off on all Trek Light Gear products. That includes all of our hammocks and accessories, our great American Apparel t-shirts and even our newest product, the Trek Light Eco Tote.

Just use this coupon code when you're checking out: CRZYSALE07

You'll be able to get a Trek Light Double hammock for less than $40 so if you've been thinking of trying one out or giving one as a gift, this will be the best time to do it. The coupon can be used as many times as you want so please feel free to pass the code along and spread the word. Keep in mind we always offer free shipping for any order over $75, so if you're ordering more than one hammock you'll be able to save big.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you at HF, as always if you have any questions or comments, let me know.

I was looking at the Claytor No-net hammock. With this sale i may look at this brand.

Will they hold up to backpacking or is it a lay in your backyard type hammock.

Ewker- I don't see any reason they wouldn't hold up on a trail. I've used mine backpacking a little, but don't have any real miles on it. It does appear to be very durable and I wouldn't have a problem hiking with it, but then my warbonnet would be mad and wouldn't talk to me anymore. :(

can anyone else comment on how these hold up while backpacking

If the Trek Light's use the same material as the ENO's (and by all accounts they do) then they are extremely durable, comfortable, and are certainly suited well to backpacking.

Thanks for all the positive comments. Don't forget our 30% off online sale is going on now (coupon code is at the beginning of this thread). We've been seeing a record number of sales so far this morning with people saving well over $40 on average along with the free shipping! I'm glad to see so many people taking advantage of the sale and getting a great deal on our gear. These are definitely the lowest prices we've ever offered in a public sale.

Let me know directly if anyone has any problems ordering today, we'll be shipping the orders as fast as we can get them out the door!

Thanks Seth!!

Purchased one for me, and one for my vicariously interested but yet uncommitted long haul bicyclist friend.
