Volume of stuffed UQ/TQ

Being new to hammocks, and being pretty tight-fisted with my money and wanting to spread out the cost, I haven't my TQ or UQ yet (just making do with a pad and sleeping bag. I was wondering about the volume of a packed (stuffed) TQ/UQ (let's assume a full length for discussion sake) as compared to the volume of my WBBB stuffed in it's sack.

It's interesting too that they stuff differently depending on how you do it. I experiment with just piling two quilts in a pack liner and using the rest of gear to compress them down, using the sacks that came with the quilts, and using other sacks... I have two regular size JRB 3 season quilts and find that they both fit into the long stuff sack that came with my winter yeti... and the stuff sack fits in the bottom of the pack pretty well. And if I use the two JRB sacks that came with them, both will sit in the pack bottom with a little space around them for clothing, but, they take up more space vertically. Just loose in the pack liner, they take up more space than I would expect.

So I have been using the long stuff sack instead of the stock sacks they came with. (40 liter pack, btw. A Gregory in fact. The pack bag tapers down to the bottom of the frame.)

And, the winter yeti is lighter than one full size JRB 3 season quilt, and will pack smaller than its stuff sack. Will probably next see if the yeti and the JRB pack into the yeti sack together.
