hm, i have only ever seen the yellow one. looks nice. im still debating weather this or the gregory z55.
i like the z55 front entrance.
This is a roll top, top loading pack. It has an hour glass shape that really helps if you do some rock scrambling. The shape keeps the pack from bumping your elbows
I just googles the z55 and its the same volume so thats cool. The Skareb is lighter but not by much only like 4 or 5 oz. The frame sheet is also removable to reduce weight.
yes, I was set on the skareb 55, but my outfitter does not carry it, but has the gregory z55. I read that the S 40 is similar to the S 55, so I will check the 40 out and see how I like it.

does it have a hydration system pocket? The z55 has a waterproof pocket in case it leaks or sweats. But I have a special holder for it, so all I would need is a pocket or tab to hold it in place.

Circled it the system for holding the bladder. I looped 55o cord from velcro loop to velcro loop to hold my camel back and didn't used the middle hook at all
