I fell out of my attic and broke my shoulder about 3 weeks ago and dont have any intentions of working on anything major for awhile and I dont want to have to worry about ordering minimums, shipping, etc. I just need about a yard fairly quick. Any color is fine (preferrably darker). I will gladly mail or paypal someone a few bucks to throw it in a PO envelope and send it to me. I am in NC. Please PM me with details.

Thanks a million.

I've already gotten rid of all my sil, but best of wishes on that shoulder. OUCH!

b,
Sorry to hear about your shoulder & wish you a speedy recovery. I do not have any sil, but have some decent 1.1 dwr in a light mint/olive green mini ripstop. Could this help?? Wacha makin?

sorry to hear about your shoulder. i know how those injuries can set you back.
i hope it'll heal quickly w/ no problems.

so you just need one yard long by the width (probably about 60") of silnylon?

I have a yard of DWR you could have. It's kind of Silver Olive in color and it is ripstop but not completely water proof, ie, you can breath through it but it's hard. Or do you need the real sil that you can make a tarp out of or something? Let me know if you want it. Mule

Thanks a million to everyone that replied to this. I really wasn't trying to get the sympathy vote... I only included the info about my shoulder so people would know why I only needed a yard! I can only do small projects for awhile.

Ha! A sil sling... that gave me a good laugh this morning.

Actually, I am going to use it to make an armband/pouch for my ipod with a pocket for other small things that I can get to without having to use my arm much. The problem is not really the pain as much as that I couldn't move my shoulder even if I wanted to. I want to use sil because I think it is going to be really cool design and still plan to use it outdoors when i'm well. The rest will go to a stuff sack for my daughters home made hammock (if I get through the first project ok).

Thanks again for all the well wishes and people offering up their material. I sincerely appreciate it.

BTW, I fell out of my attic while building storage shelves for my wife. Go ahead and crack all the jokes you want.. believe me, my family and friends have already cracked about every joke you can think of... even threatening to buy me a parachute for Christmas! :)
