MedicineMan was kind enough to loan me his Winter Mamba for the Roan High Winter Hang. It is one more fine quilt. The loft is easily 5.5" plus. I am an extremely cold sleeper and even with the low of 1.8º Friday night I slept warm and toasty. As a mater of fact I awoke one time too hot. Those are two words that I have never used in the winter before.

5.5"?? Wow, that is some serious over-fill! No wonder you were so warm/hot! Warbonnetguy definately makes some quality gear. I just wonder when he gets some time off. From the number of people ordering hammocks, underquilts, top quilts, tarps, etc, I see no way for him to step away from his thread injector for meals, much less for a day off! Unless he has elves or something... :lol:
