Any news on a possible date these might be back in stock?
Thanks
I've got a 1.1dbl Switchback on order (termed "backorder" - they just haven't made it yet). After laying in the Light Hiker, I'll wait... however long it takes. Just like with Warbonnet, Hammock Gear, and others, I've found the gear from TTTG is definitely worth the wait.
Take your time Dale. Make it a good one!:shades:
We now have one 1.9 SL and five 1.9 DL on the shelf. Don't worry OutandBack, I didn't include your 1.9 SL in that count. The 1.1 DL Switchback and the 1.1 DL LightHiker are in production. All of the LightHiker's will be in Honey Brown. The 1.1 DL Switchback's will be a mix of Honey Brown, Blue, and Green.
Cheers, Dale
Someone better jump on those in-stock Switchbacks!
If you really want to know what true comfort is all about, get one!

Just wanted to report today my 1.9 single SB arrived this morning.
It took me all of 10 minutes to unpack and hang in the backyard test site.
No picts yet it's snowing but will have some up soon.
First impressions right out of the box:
Who picks the colors of these whoopies (fluorescent green)
Ah, nice bishop bag.
Oh, tree straps included, nice.
Quality workmanship.
Love the double zip on the netting.
First 30 second lay...
What!?! no left leg pressure, sweeeet. Sorry I didn't believe. Now I'm a believer.
Comment:
Do to the lower whoopies angle (this baby looks long) the ends of the hammock are barely covered with my OES Delux tarp.
Added the GrizBeak and all was well covered. It's snowing so one notices these thing right away.
Anyway that's my first impression report, more to come unless you guys have already heard this stuff too many times...

No no no! Don't stop! I'm on the fence and I think the 1.9 SL is the way I want to go. Looking forward to more updates. Especially interested in how the Deluxe fits since that's what I have. I probably won't use the whoopie though. I'm a ring and buckle guy.

A few picts of the new SB 1.9 single layer in the backyard testsite.
Will be testing tonight.
Wanted to point out the OES Delux catcut tarp is right on the edge to cover the ends of this hammock.
Something you might want to consider when ordering a tarp.
The quickest fix for me was to add the GrizBeak which gives you an additional foot.
I'm currently not using a CRL just whoopies on the tarp D-ring.
I think I will switch to a CRL to give me something to tie the netting to and clip
flashlight, etc.

Of course it is. What isn't going? :D:D:D
Under no circumstance are my wife or son allowed to try it out. :glare: I don't feel like having to sell their Blackbirds to support a new fix in their habit.
OTOH, I'm looking forward to giving it a test ride with your permission. :shades:

Absolutely! I'll go ahead and warn you now, though. The SB is paradise!
