This is currently just to check interest on ordering some of this line. Nothing is set in stone at the moment.
I've been wanting to experiment with some new types of suspension systems using rope. While researching the different types of line out there I came across Amsteel Blue (AB) (http://www.samsonrope.com/index.cfm?rope=192) and I was pretty impressed with it's specs. The AB has a 2500 lbs breaking strength and weighs in at .5 lbs per 100ft. Compare that to the 3.8mm Spyder line that has a 1900lbs breaking strength, weighs .8lb per 100', and costs $0.76 per foot.
I was looking to find a source for the 1/8" (3mm) size. All the places that sell the AB only have sizes that start at 3/16". I contacted a few companies and one company wrote me back and told me they have a 500' roll of the 1/8" AB that they will sell me. I only want about 100' of this rope to experiment with so there is 400' up for grabs if anyone is interested.

12 strand Dyneema SK-75 fiber w/ Samthane coating
2500 lbs breaking strength
.5lb per 100 ft weight
single braid construction
The cost would be 0.40 per foot plus 4.60 shipping. I accept and strongly prefer PayPal but you will have to pay the fees.
This is thread is just to check and see if there is anyone else interested in getting some of this line. I am going to sell this in 50' lengths only. Priority given to those wanting 100' or more. There is only an extra 400' available, so first come first serve. PM me if interested.
