View Full Version : Poll: Do you have more pics of your hammock than your children/pet?
As a subculture of traditional ground dwelling backpackers, we hangers tend to be pretty obsessed and extremely proud of our hammock set-ups (me included!) Notice you never ever see a ground-dweller with an avatar pic of their tent right? And I never see pics of people proudly "showing off" their tents. So I wondered if I could conduct a very non-scientific survey and poll everyone here to see how bad this bug really is.
Do you think you have more pics of your hammocks and related gear than you do of your own children? And if you have no kids, you can substitute your pet or love interest. :D

My wife and I are obsessed with taking pix of our animals....they're just so **** cute! Plus, they've been around longer than my hammock(s). I HAVE taken a LOT of hammock/gear pix since I've started the DIY thing; maybe the gear will catch up :rolleyes:

My wife takes a gazillion pics of everything, but most of the pics I take of the kids have a hammock in there...
All in all, I have more pics of my kids than I do of my hammock.
BUT, I have 2 pictures of my youngest son taken this year, 1 of my oldest son, and at least 12 pics of my hammock, soooooooo.
I can't vote in the poll, no choices fit, but yes, I guess I have more pics of my hammock than I do of my kids.
In my defense, my "kids" arn't actually kids anymore (Jon turns 25 In Jan, and Brad turns 21 in Feb) and my hammock is new. :D

I had to check hammock. Mainly since I have no kids, pets, or love interest. Unless you consider hanging. Than yes I have a love interest.
Ok I just checked the results and I am the only one with more hammock pics. Come on there has to be someone else out there.
