In light of the recent issues involving ropes and rings vs. whoopies I just got off the phone with Dale at TTTG and he had no problem making up whoopies and shipping them out to me. Good customer service. The website does need to be updated though to reflect the change to rope and rings as the standard. Otherwise a quality transaction and quality gear.

Excellent to hear. They are a quality vendor. Not sure I'm crazy about the changes rings and loop becoming standard on their hammocks. They may end up offering a selection.

According to Dale, people had complained about the whoopies so they changed but were going to be offering both. The website just needs to reflect that.

Whoopies can perplex the new user......hard to please all customers.
Good to hear.

It's what I assumed but good to know - thanks for looking into it.

I'll have to call. I don't care for the rings at all.

What don't you like? I used rings on my Hennessy and they were awesome! I'm just using slings now because they're lighter.

Don't forget to post your opinions of the two once you have time to play with them :)

OK, after playing around a bit with them, I liked them. They are very plain looking, but they turned out to be easier to set up than the whoopies.
