So let the learning curve begin...woo hoo!!! :D

Ok enough of that

Been lurking for a while trying to figure it all out.
Tired of sleeping on the ground wanted to give it a try and Tom's setup looked best to me.
So I hope it all works out.

Thanks for the help even if you don't know it.

Welcome,

Being tired of the ground is the same reason I started with Hammocks too. I love this place, because everyone is so informative, and willing to try new things and ways of doing things. You will find a ton of valuable information here.

Thanks guys for the welcome.

I forgot to mention I choose the Jungle Hammock with the fly.
The only thing I was worried about was the fly...
I try the one that comes with the Jungle but I have a Noah 12 but I think it's too big.
But we'll see. That's the fun part.

slowhike guitar player? Well I do love to play lots of fun just another hobbie.
Here's photo I like of us messing around.
I am the guy to the right playing the guitar and harp...great night.

i used to pick a little but haven't done much w/ it in a while. but we have some guitar players here on HF that make me wish i was staying in tune<G>.
Fishbone & Dutch Treat are a couple of pickers that i have herd in person. they are "top notch"!!!
Dutch plays & i understand he quite a picker & singer of songs.
Mule makes guitars that look better than what i've seen in the stores, so i'm assuming he picks too.
i'm probably missing some.

sorry to get off topic w/ the guitar for a moment... but did you know that a hammock can be an extremely comfy place to pick a guitar?:D

Nope. Like Mikefhaz says. That is how I slept in my hammock for the first three or four times after I got it. Even woke up one morning with a 1/2 full bottle of beer between my legs.
