Been starting to research more and more about how to let me use my hammock in colder weather. I stumbled on the LHBR DL and I really love the product description and its versatility - I do believe I would be hammocking in around 20 degree weather and that thing is rated at 40 - can be used as a TQ or UQ. I am still learning the different set ups for cold weather use, so not sure yet. Which brings me to my question:

In the product description it says there will be inserts, was wondering if anyone has heard rumor what those inserts may be? If the inserts will enhance the rating than this may be a perfect solution for me. (Thinking refund check from student loans coming soon LOL)

The first ones will be IX. We are looking at other syn. insulation as well.

excited about the inserts :D i think they would be a great way to extend any TQ's temp rating

how well does IX drape? I can see snuggling up with a CCF pad. ;-)

IX drapes well, the more it is handled (stuffed & un-stuffed) , the better it drapes. I would not hesitate to say that my LHBR drapes similar to a fleece bag.
