View Full Version : Storm News
Hey Folks,
We are closing up until next week due to the hurricane. Looks like it is going to be a rough one as we are in the direct path. We will resume operations as soon as possible. Last time we were hit (Isabel), we were without power for quite awhile.
The good news is that most of our hammocks are back in stock now as well as the CatCut Tarp. We have added Spruce Green to the 1.9 line. We will be posting some pics of the new color as soon as we get through this storm. We have released a netless version of the LightHiker 1.1DL as well. We will also be releasing the Molly Mac Gear Jerry Chair shortly.
Cheers, Dale
Take care Darby!

Stay safe bro. She skirted us.
Right now we have 85 mph and some rain. They said another 10 in by the time it's over. We are camped out at the bar, somebody has to keep an eye on all this beer:scared::boggle::lol:

Am I missing something? Having memories of Andrew, Hugo and Katrina I am having a hard time assessing this as a hurricane of "historic proportions" as one of our statesmen put it. I recognize the power of the wind and potential for damage but really... is it that dangerous or have I just become jaded?

Darby hope you and the family are all safe, be careful!
Hey Folks,
Thank you for your concern.
We made it through fine. Lost some branches & had a little flooding but nothing major. The Outer Banks was slammed. We are still without power at the shop. once it is restored we will be back to work & shipping as fast as we can. Hopefully by Wed. or Thurs.
Cheers, Dale
PS: the beer made it also, well, most of it anyway:lol:
I'm glad you're OK. Thanks for the update!
Trust me, you will make it through all of this, to anyone going through the storm or taking on damage. I've lived through several hurricanes and had to help rebuild my parents house after Katrina. It's just a matter of getting to it. In all of my experience, everything ends up better than it was before. It's just an excuse to get out and get some much needed work done.
