Question. I have heared so many great things about eno hammocks, but have a concern i'd like cleared up before buying one. I am currently using a byer moskito hammock, which i love, but tried one of their "Traveler" ones, & took it back, as it's made in 3 panels instead of just one, & the sewn ribbon was REAL uncomfortable when it would get under me. I hear eno hammocks are 3 panels also, & am wondering if i'm apt to run into the same problem with them, or are the sewn ribbons further up the side or not as thick. Any answers would be very appreciated. Thanks :)

First they are further up the sides. Only the Double Deluxe has the seam down the middle. The seams have never been an issue and have never been noticeable to me. I don't sleep with a pad under me either. If you really are concerned, the ENOs come single panel as well. It is just one color.

Thanks wyleone! I didn't know you could get them single panel. MUCH appreciated! I don't want to get into dragging a pad along on my hikes just to compensate. Must be the one with the sewn area in the center is a better sewing job that doesn't feel like you're lying on the side of a 2x4! LOL! Thanks again. I'll give one a go. :)

Got my Eno SN in June and took it camping
As it is my first Hammock I can't say about any others
But I do like how I lay in it

Yep, the seams never bothered me even when I lay on the diagonal. Very comfy.

Thanks so much all. Yeah, the Double nest is the one i was eyeing in Eastern mountain sports. Think i'll head over & see if it's still there {may even be on SALE! :)} May stick mainly with the byer moskito hammock for camping {have 2 of those}, especially in warmer weather, as it has the netting, but i sleep in a hammock indoors for my bed too, so the double nest may be better for that. Thanks again & happy hangin'

I also have an ENO DN, it's my fav. hammock of all time. I have found it more comfy than my Blackbird...at 1/2 the weight and cost! (Just my opinion)...

I have 2 eno dn's and have slept on one indoors for the past 3 weeks. I sleep diagonal and have never noticed the seems. I also have an hh exploerer deluxe wit the net but always string the dn up for lounging when car camping. Seems I spend more time in it than any of the othes

I have an ENO DN and love it. I have not had a problem with the seams or anything else for that matter......OOOOHHH wait the slap straps. Yeah don't buy the slap straps or the slap strap pros (way to much stretch).

I have a DN and after spending a few nights in it I have trouble getting comfortable in my Claytor. Great hammock.

Same here; my eno double nest is quite comfy. I sleep on the diagonal and the seams don't bother me.

I love my ENO DN, and the only times I have seam problems is when I hang the hammock too tightly

+1 for ENO hammocks!
