This is great advertising.

I am now saving for a Trek Light Double.

That's hilarious! That just makes me want a Trek Light Gear Double more than ever! Been waiting for the season premier of the "Walking Dead" to come back on AMC...

Hold up a sec!

Didn't Backpacker Mag warn us all that you are 60% more likely to be attacked by zombies if you are in a hammock rather than a tent?:scared: Have you all lost your minds? You should all buy tents and send your hammocks, tarps , underquilts to me so you are not tempted to use them! Really, it is for your own good.
What's that you say? That was bears, not zombies? Sorry, my bad. We are all big tough hangers and can deal with bears. But zombies are just gross! Still, if you wanna be sure, I can post my address :D

Just make sure you used Swayers Zombie-A-Way Spray on your gear to keep them nasties at bay.

ROFLOL that's hilarious! A couple zombies just standing around moaning. Translation: "What are you guys in the mood for tonight? Tex-mex or chinese?"

I suppose a hammock could be a zombie burrito as well if you've got a sock or pea pod on.

Question is: Does it have a shelf to accommodate a sawed-off shotgun? And a can of Zom-B-GoneŽ spray for the outside of your UQ?

SHOOT! Ya mean permethrin wont deter zombies from biting!? I figured everything avoided from that stuff

Heh. Heh. Heh.

That's pretty funny...

No, zombies'll still eat their way through permethrin. However, the aerosol bottle can still be a can of Zom-B-Gone...as long as you have a Zippo...

Who knows, maybe someday the Forums will need its own Zombie sub-forum to keep up with the demand of this emerging market. Don't forget you can use our VersaTrek Gear Loft to store some extra brains if you need to set some decoys or zombie traps. :)

Glad you guys are digging the post, definitely the most fun I've had writing a blog post in a while!

Strangely enough, I joined this forum to get ideas for a hammock to sleep in at zombie camp next month. I think I have the hammock lined out, but I'm still trying to figure out where to put the zombie repellent. Specifically the 9mm carbine, 1911, and Buckmark. I'm thinking small hammock hanging from the tarp ridgeline.

ZERO - Zombie Eliminator Ridgeline Organizer

Yet another coincidence. I technically own a company called ZERO: Zombie Emergency Response Outfitters. I never got around to actually doing anything with it. Between procrastination and spending most of the last 15 months either at the doctor or severely messed up on painkillers it just didn't come together.

Speaking of that, where did I put my meds. Ouch.
