I recently purchased a Grand Trunk single parachute hammock, and couldn't be happier! I love this hammock and will spend many nights snoozing away!

Have you compared it to the Grand Trunk Double? If so, tell me about your thoughts. I currently use a double and am very comfy.

I have not compared it to the double. I normally toss and turn at night in bed, and I slept like a newborn baby in my single. I wish I could set it up inside, would be way more comfortable than my bed.

Why can't you? I did. LOL Just bought some eye bolts from the hardware store and screwed them into a stud.

Yeah and there are more reassuring options as well, but for the most part an eye bolt into the stud is all you need. If I were single I'd have a hammock instead of a bed.

I live in a college dorm, I don't think my RA would appreciate me moving my loft bed out, and hanging a hammock from the wall.

Buy your RA enough beer and anything is possible lol

I go to a Christian college, don't think buying him beer will do any good. My dorm room is too small to set up my hammock anyway.

I have a few friends who RAed at Liberty - don't remember them having a problem with beer bribes so you never know haha. But if the rooms too small the rooms too small.

if I end up getting a room to myself I'm going to set up my hammock.

Freshman year I had a 2 person room to myself. I put the 2 beds on top of each other and had so much more room for activities!!! Also, it's easy to slap a little drywall mud up to cover the holes!
