Hi guys,

I have a relatively new set of whoops with Dutch clips and I'm finding that one end tends to creep under load, slowly lowering my WBBB DL 1.7.

Have people had this issue before? Perhaps I am doing something wrong?

I weigh ~88kg.

Cheers
Tom.

Hi there
Never had that on mine... been using all summer.. & I weigh more than 88kg.
Did you buy them ready made or make yourself?
Could be your bury is not long enough!

cheers
Gareth

This can happen if the bury is not milked. Just a thought.

It may be on backwards.
Good luck.

That's what I first thought, the fixed eye end is attached to the hammock right?

Bunaka, if they were purchased from us, the bury should be more than adequate to hold well. If the fixed eye is on the hammock end as it should be, then as the others have said milk the bury from the adjustable loop end towards the fixed eye end after adjusting the loop. Some of the colors of line are a little stiffer than others when new but if all that is done, they will not slip. Feel free to email or PM me here if you have additional questions.

Thanks all. They are on correctly. I will try the milking method.

Seems a bit of milking was all it needed. Thanks all.

Happened to me one night when it was sleeting and snowing and 19F. I thought the ice had something to do with it but got up, broke the ice off, re-milked the whoppies and all was good. I was rushing set up cause I was freezing my butt off and wanted my downy goddness.

I'm not sure if Amsteel is metric compliant. If you told it you were 194lbs it would probably hold better.:shades:
