This new one is pretty darn cheap. Just ditch the nylon straps. Parachute Hammock, Camping Furniture, Stansport, Hammock Quick Set Hammock Travel Hammock Portable Hammock Camp Hammock at Sportsman's Guide (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=421616)

isn't the ENO with the bugnet less than eighty bucks? I saw those at REI the other day.

Skeeter-beeter from Campmor was $39.00 With a simple tarp you should be well within budget.

There are WAY to many options out there for under $130 to consider buying a used one...unless you're after an HH or Clark.

Just checked Ebay and there's currently 22 HH items mostly Explorers and Expeditions...

Are you interested in a Claytor with tarp for $100.00 shipped? The hammock has velcro along the edges added to accommodate a Speer Snugfit under tarp and it has had it's nylon straps replaced with shorter ones made from polyester webbing.

Mule, that hammock already got here this A.M., and I have already hung in it. Thanks, I was hoping it might get here tomorrow or even Sat A.M. in time to try it out this weekend, but you beat that by a mile.

Now I've got to figure out what to use for spreader bars. If I was in the woods I'd find a couple of sticks.

I use shortened arrows, but my favorite is bamboo. Glad you got it so soon. Mule
