Just get an idea of how many are ok with the extra $9 to get the Jackets.
I can tell you this, with my 3, and those that have contacted me, we have at least 7 jackets, just need 8 more.

I will stay in if needed to make minimum order size. otherwise out. not a big deal, but it seems to me the company ought to cut Iafte some slack considering all he has done to promote their product to HF.

I voted yes, but would be willing to forgo the jacket to make a point with the company. I just don't want Iafte to get stuck with anything, since he's done so much to make this happen already.
I voted no but would be willing to get one if the group votes yes. I do agree with all that has been said so far. And no matter how this buy turns out I would like to thank Iafte for all he has done to try and make this happen.

I voted no. In my opinion, it's a cheese **** way for that company to do business.

I talked to a rep today, seams it was a mistake because the stiching products are not suppose to get any discount even for bulk orders due to the added costs associated with the process. Since they had a discount up, they are making an exception and having the discount that is up now only for two months then it's going back to no discount.
At $14, they were loosing money on the jackets, without counting the cost of the stiching. I priced around over the weekend and the cheepest I could find was $27 a jacket PLUS $100 setup fee with a 50 jacket minimum. So it's still a good deal, just not an amazing one like we thought.

I voted yes - It is still a good buy. Maybe not exceptional but still a good buy.
I had already sent $30 so skip the cap and let me know how much additional to cover the difference plus shipping on the jacket.

$100 setup fee? Is this for embroidery? When I have stuff done my setup fee is around $35.

I'm still in, but whatever is decided is cool with me. Too bad we didn't jump b4 they realized their mistake. ;) It's still a good deal, but if I end up putting that $$ towards another DD hammock, that's ok too. :D

Ok guys, we know we can get the jackets at the price from cafe press, I'm working to see if I can get them cheeper from this other place that contacted me today. I'll keep everyone posted.
She sounded like she would be able to beat the price, just have to send her the specs tonight.
OK, sorry about the delay, work and home life have been really hectic.
I have worked out a deal with Cafe Press and they are waiving the shipping fee after I told them I was going to someplace else.
So, the total needed from all comes to $30 per jacket. Just send the difference from what you sent the first time, those that sent MO's, I'll cover you once I get all the paypal money but will hold your jacket ransom until I receive the rest. ;)
I will be covering the cost of Jeff's jacket by myself. If you feel the need to help with the cost, you can, but there is no need to help.
Those that want out, send me a PM and I'll refund your money.
I'll post more details later, I'm posting from a customers right now and shouldn't be doing it. :p

There is a group buy on for the performance jacket, you find under "Outerwear". Regular price $40 before shipping, group buy price now $30 after shipping.
I suspect that Iafte can let you in on the deal if you sign up soon.

Iafte is doing a group buy on jackets for $30 each I believe. I not sure if he is offering both mens and womens sizes or not. I believe it is these two but you will have to get the straight skinny from him.
